The Role
Coordinated Business Systems is looking for a technically savvy, relationship-driven Solutions Consultant to help businesses modernize how they communicate and operate.
This role blends technical expertise with sales initiative. You’ll work directly with prospects to understand their needs, design tailored UCaaS and Managed Network solutions, and lead them from the first conversation through close. After the sale, you’ll collaborate with our Client Success team to ensure a smooth handoff and long-term success.
This is not a pure hunter role, but you are expected to actively generate new opportunities, build your own pipeline, and play a key role in driving new business while partnering closely with our internal team.
Position Summary
- Engage with business leaders to uncover challenges and identify opportunities
- Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, and existing relationships
- Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover business needs, priorities, and decision criteria
- Design and present customized UCaaS and Managed Network (MNS) solutions
- Translate technical concepts into clear business value
- Lead demos, solution discussions, and proposals
- Confidently move opportunities forward and gain client commitment
- Collaborate with internal technical and service teams throughout the sales process

Maintain and manage an active pipeline, ensuring consistent progress toward sales

Skills & Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in telecom, UCaaS, IT, or managed services
- Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions in a business-friendly way
- Proactive approach to generating opportunities and building pipeline
- Naturally curious, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and uncover root business challenges
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a resilient, solutions-oriented mindset
- Able to manage multiple opportunities while staying focused on high-impact activities
- Curiosity and drive to continuously learn evolving technologies
- Able to balance big-picture thinking with strong attention to detail; those who enjoy working in the details will thrive in this role
