Senior Network Engineer – Managed Services
Burnsville, Rochester and Saint Cloud | In-Person | Full-Time |
$85k - $110k
The Role
Tired of MSP chaos, unrealistic workloads, and feeling like just another ticket number?
Ready to put your technical expertise to work in an environment where quality matters more than quantity? At Coordinated Business Systems, we believe great engineers do their best work when they're supported, challenged, and trusted, not measured solely by ticket counts.
We're a privately owned, established company focused on long-term growth, strong client relationships, and building a team people genuinely enjoy being part of. That means meaningful technical work, realistic expectations, and the opportunity to work closely with clients and teammates without constant burnout.
We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to serve as a technical leader within our Managed Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure and networking challenges, mentoring others, and partnering with clients to build stable, secure, and scalable environments.
This is not a role where you'll sit in the background managing a single environment. You'll work across a variety of client networks and infrastructures, helping organizations solve real business problems through technology.
Position Summary
- Serve as a technical escalation point and support the engineering team in
resolving complex networking issues - Provide onsite and remote support to clients across highly diverse environments
- Monitor, manage, and maintain client systems using RMM tools
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and end-user issues
- Communicate project updates and issue status to clients and internal teams via
PSA tools, documentation, and email/phone - Collaborate with third-party vendors to expedite issue resolution
- Manage and document service tickets with accurate time entry
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation (approx. 1 week every 5–6 weeks)
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and security best practices
