IT Technical Specialist - Second Shift

In the role of Second Shift Technical Specialist, your primary responsibility is to offer essential technical expertise and support during evening hours. This position requires a versatile skill set encompassing troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of diverse technical systems. You will conduct routine maintenance activities to uphold optimal system performance, including performing upgrades, patches, and system checks during the evening to minimize disruptions. Your duties also involve ensuring the seamless operation of equipment, addressing technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

This is a full-time opportunity where candidates are responsible for the daily analysis, monitoring and management, and implementation of a variety of networking and technology initiatives for our clients.

A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and technical skills, proficiency in support of Microsoft solutions, be a self-starter and exhibit strong communication skills.

Responsibilities + Requirements

• 2-5 years of technical experience.
• Backup & disaster recovery monitoring a plus.
• Virtualization experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with a Managed Service Provider is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Input and manage tickets and daily time entry through our PSA Professional Services Automation system.
• Support clients with our Remote Monitoring and Management solution.
• Adhere to all company internal policies and procedures.
